This thread compares the RAF in 2003 and 2025, examining doctrine, aircraft numbers, weapons, deployments, combat capability, and value for money. Using MoD statistics, I try to assess if the RAF has improved or degraded and whether it meets Britain’s security needs. As always views are my own and in this thread I have provided links to where I have got the data and information from, however I am still willing to be corrected is someone has better information. I would recommend following @edwardstrngr @gregbagwell and @scottyeders if you want to keep updated with the RAF, the challenges it faces and for different points of view. Royal Air Force 2003 and 2035 - Comparison
