Multi-millionaire Dave Portnoy takes to social media to RANT that WNBA players deserve to be paid more, claiming the league no longer loses money, despite the NBA’s charity losing $40M last year and NEVER turning a profit in the history of its existence. 

If he thinks they should be paid more, then why doesn’t he pay them himself? 

“I don’t know how anybody in the world with a brain… can rationally say the women don’t deserve more money at this point.” 

“And I know what people are going to say, ‘Well, this league has lost money. It’s a charity league. The NBA subsidizes it…. Fair, fair argument.” 

“It’s not true now. The WNBA is exploding.”
