A noble sentiment. It becomes a tragic irony when the admin saying it spent its first term chasing out generals and its second installing loyalists who echo the President's talking points.

Just two days ago, Sec. Hegseth announced a massive leadership shuffle after a speech vowing to "revive the warrior ethos" as "President Trump always wants." Today, the entire DoD leadership is silent—no releases, no advisories. The admin isn't building leaders; it's building an echo chamber with an $850B budget.

"Best" is no longer about competence or integrity. It's about loyalty to an agenda, not the Constitution.
