For $GME ’s plans (NFTs, digital items, potential in-game economics), the Ethereum + L2 (Loopring/other zk rollups) path makes far more sense...programmable smart contracts, cheap fast settlement, composability, wallets already integrated. 

Bitcoin is great as a payment/store add-on (maybe accept $BTC or wrapped $BTC), but it can’t natively run the marketplace logic. 

So, build on $ETH L2, optionally plug $BTC in at the edges. I think this is the best way for them going forward...
