What I try to do now is identify good narratives somewhere under 100k a day or two after launch and then hope I get a little lucky. Narratives take time to develop and people need to understand this: CT is full of incels who don’t get out much and X in general is mostly conservative boomers who are so braindead they still think Trump wasn’t one of Epstein’s biggest clients. Trends, animals, and other objects worth tokenizing start with younger generations and they mostly live on IG and TikTok — look at $kori, look at $labubu, etc. It not only takes time for that stuff to reach here but it also takes time for it to penetrate the algo, which is hijacked by engagement farmers, musk simps, and OF girls globally, and then more locally for us by all the influencers who still have the spiritual poverty necessary to post gm every morning and employ other engagement-farmy type tactics. But all that noise creates opportunity because the real narratives are often hidden in plain sight — @NFTwap posted months ago about how there were inefficiencies all over the market and I believe this is partly what he meant. I was told to buy $labubu last year and I did but I was way too early and sold for pennies. But I learned from it so when $domo rugged after it’s initial cto run, I kept an eye on the community and they were so active and productive that I knew it could run again if they got eyes and sure enough, got a little lucky and my patience paid off. Now, same thing with $uma. The beauty of this environment is that you do not have to chase plays. Most people here are gambling addicts and will sell good narratives down to bargain basement prices — if the narrative is good and the team and community is working, you only need a sol or two. People topblasting the tops of “daily runners” with four-figure buys have never looked dumber to me because there is genuinely no need to play the market with that style. And please understand that TradFi money managers would have clients banging down their doors begging to take their money if they could get a XXX% return on their money in a year, let alone a day or two. Stop chasing 100, 1000X’es aping every contract that gets scanned in a tg and start looking for places you can carefully place 1-3 SOL and let it ride for at least a couple weeks because that’s where you can not only make real money more consistently, but also how you can get back a lot of your personal time as well. And for real get on TT at some point and look for edits of Uma Musume races because that shit can get you pretty hype ngl.
