Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass says she believes half of the National Guard troops deployed there by the Trump administration "have departed" by now, and the remaining ones are focused on protecting two federal buildings.

"This is just such an incredible misuse of not only taxpayers' money, but of the young people who are in the National Guard," she says, calling the deployment “unnecessary.”
