A "noisy, $XXX air conditioner" in Germany (where electricity prices are the most expensive) starts at 8k BTU's, and running one for XX hours (what they are generally designed for) would cost you four euros a day.

That'd cost you about €170 to €113  a month, depending on your usage.  (below 100kW/h to 2500kW/h)

We call y'all europoors for a reason.

Central air is a lot more energy efficient.
