Cross-chain activity is everywhere now. We swap, stake, and move assets across chains. But hereโ€™s the problem: bridges can fail, get hacked, or give false finality. Billions have been lost due to trusting the wrong bridge.

Most users donโ€™t see these risks. They trust that a bridge will do its job, but trust-based systems can break, especially when real assets are involved.

So, how do we fix this? How can we enable cross-chain transactions without blindly trusting intermediaries? Thatโ€™s what @union_build is working on.

In the next post, weโ€™ll dive into why relying on a single verifier is risky and how Union uses light clients and zk proofs to secure cross-chain activity.

Stay tuned. zkgm ๐Ÿ’š
