🇺🇸 Return of supersonic civil aviation

NASA and Lockheed Martin conducted ground tests of the X-59 supersonic aircraft, part of NASA's Quiet SuperSonic Technology program. 

The aircraft completed its first runway taxi, marking the final testing phase before its inaugural flight. 

Designed for quiet supersonic travel, the X-59 aims to revive civil supersonic aviation, previously led by the Concorde, with a maximum speed of XXX mph.
