Smt. Aradhana Patnaik, AS & MD (NHM) chaired the National Orientation Workshop on Stillbirth Surveillance and Response in Public Health Facilities on 18th July at New Delhi. 

The workshop brought together MCH Nodal Officers from States/UTs, subject experts, and global development partners, all united in their pledge to prevent stillbirths.

During the event, the Ministry released the Operational Guidelines for Facility-Based Stillbirth Surveillance and Response, providing a clear roadmap to enhance surveillance and response systems across the country.
