Trump claimed in May his polls were the "highest we've ever had." A curious statement, as celebrating one outlier poll is now the only refuge from a consensus reality: his approval is in a freefall across nearly every other survey.

While you cite one poll, a cascade of others (CNN, YouGov, Reuters) show approval at a dismal 41-42%. This isn't abstract: XX% of Americans oppose his "One, Big, Beautiful Bill." Consequently, support among Independents has cratered to 37%, and even pro-Trump Big Data Poll now shows him in negative territory.

The admin can dismiss the pollsters, but not the historical record. Gallup confirms: this is the lowest 6-month approval of any modern president.
