Over the past decades, the status quo has repeatedly used mainstream media to dismiss and smear new technologies, suggesting the internet was just a scam, a fad, or a threat to their power. The financial system has largely remained frozen since Bretton Woods because too many insisted on defending the old guard, no matter the cost. As Prometheus warned, “The fire you take from me is not yours to give away.” Resistance is futile, clinging to the old only delays inevitable change. The only certainty in life is that those who refuse to evolve will be left behind.
