We know now that Kaylee's mouth had signs of being gagged due to the marks that were present on each side of her mouth. Many have asked how she could have been gagged?

I think he forcefully used his hand. 

He could have used the knife sheath (possible but recall, no DNA from Kaylee was reported). 

I don't believe he took the time to apply a traditional gag because she was fighting him.  She was bludgoened.  In fact, her nose was broken according to Mr. Goncalves.

Certainly, Bryan Kohberger knows what he did. I am sure he revels in the recollection. 

A forensic reconstructionist could put together what likely happened if they had all of the pieces. 

We don't.  But this is what I think from what evidence we have. 

I think he forcefully used the webbing of his hand.  Occam's Razor.
