Heartbreaking tragedy in Suwayda, Syria’s Druze community mourns the brutal execution of three young men forced to jump from a balcony and shot by HTS militants.  The victims: dentistry student Dr. Muadh Bashar Arnous (23), his brother Baraa Bashar Arnous (engineering student, 20), and their cousin Dr. Osama Arnous (dentist, 27).  Their father, Bashar Arnous—a known anti-Assad dissident—was also killed off-camera by the same HTS forces. 
The family fled advancing HTS government troops from Al-Mazraa to Suwayda, only to be targeted in their apartment for being Druze.  This sectarian atrocity highlights HTS’s ISIS-like brutality in post-Assad Syria—executing civilians despite their opposition to the former regime.
