🇺🇦 Zelensky orders sharp increase in drone procurement — new contracts to be signed next week

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has instructed Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Oleksandr Syrskyi, Defense Minister Denys Shmyhal, and National Security and Defense Council Secretary to scale up drone purchases and allocate additional funding for this purpose.

💬 “The relevant additional contracts will be signed next week,” Zelensky said.

Ukraine is rapidly expanding its drone program — a top priority amid the ongoing war with Russia.
