mindshare on Kaito (EXPLAINED)
BOOKMARK THIS 📚

think about mindshare leaderboards as being a collection of posts & replies including certain keywords.

you can make educated guesses about what the keywords for a specific projects are. for e.g. anoma should have ''anoma'' as one of the keywords, their twitter handle and maybe some other niched words referring to the token, products and so on.

well now Kaito's LLM will filter for those keywords when attributing mindshare to different yappers

when we look at the definition of mindshare we read it as ''a share of voice'' within that twitter cluster
*twitter cluster - a collection of posts/replies including specific keywords

so your mindshare in this context is generated by engagement (smart interactions) from accounts holding mindshare within that cluster.

both your replies and your posts contribute to mindshare. replies on posts including the keywords already can add to mindshare even if the reply itself doesn't include the keywords because the whole conversation is indexxed as contributing to the mindshare of that leaderboard

____

X DO & X DON'T

- DO research, get into discord, talk with the team members and really become a real contributor for a project if you want to compete on their campaigns. keep in mind the overwhelming majority of projects will use these leaderboards to distribute rewards. whether they announce it or not

- DON'T try to find shortcuts and hacks because it's not worth it in the long-run anyway. some leaderboards are more carefully curated than others. kaito's mindshare tool can be used in different ways and there's customization available too but most projects run it quite basic

getting really involved with projects will also show you their standards, quality of work, how they communicate & deliver on their promises...etc

which will help you choose which projects are worth your time

____

yappers are power users
yappers are marketers
yappers are testnet users
yappers are content creators

yappers are becoming the primary vehicle for projects' marketing, growth, TGEs and community building
