🇩🇪 Bundeswehr general: Russia preparing to attack Ukraine with XXXXX drones at once

The Russian army is working to drastically scale up its drone strikes and expand UAV production, said German Major General Christian Freuding on the Bundeswehr’s Nachgefragt podcast.

According to him, Moscow aims to gain the capability to launch up to XXXXX drones simultaneously — to overwhelm Ukrainian air defenses and destroy infrastructure.

As a countermeasure, Freuding mentioned preemptive strikes on Russian airfields, military aircraft, and defense industry facilities.

He also noted that just a few weeks ago, Ukraine was still receiving drone components from China, but now, according to him, China is effectively exporting only to Russia, leaving Ukraine completely cut off from that market.
