Normally if you wanna swap BTC for ETH, you go through an exchange or some bridge someone’s always in the middle. 

You lock your funds, the other person locks theirs. Then either the swap happens and both walk away happy or nothing happens and you both keep your coins. 

Nobody can scam you because it’s all based on this “atomic swap” thing: either both sides win or nothing happens at all. 

Basically your wallet, your BTC, a clean and trustless trade with someone else’s ETH no middlemen, no drama.
