The winners will keep winning. NFTs that survived one of the worst markets in crypto history will be the ones that pump hardest. Example: Pudgy Penguins. I also believe we’ll see massive sales in NFT art, like we did with Beeple in 2021. Collections like Punks will gain even more value. There will be solid opportunities in new ecosystems too, MegaETH, Abstract, maybe even Monad (if it ever launches). We’ll see profitable mints again, but the days of $XXXXXX WL flips are gone. And no, those dead NFTs from collections that haven’t posted in Discord for X months… no one’s buying your digital trash. Finally, I think this is temporary. NFTs will have their moment when the cycle starts cooling down. Last cycle, NFTs pumped last. That doesn’t mean it’ll happen again but for now, I think it will. My thoughts on NFTs this cycle:
They’ll never return to the 2021-22 peak, but I still think we’ll see interesting moves.
The winners will keep winning.
NFTs that survived one of the worst markets in crypto history will be the ones that pump hardest.
Example: Pudgy Penguins.
I also believe we’ll see massive sales in NFT art, like we did with Beeple in 2021.
