Breaking the Silence on Abuse in South Africa

In an attempt to break the silence in my community - white South Africans - when it comes to physical and sexual abuse in the home, I have started a small project.  The idea is to give current victims and survivors that remain afraid to speak about their abuse a way of getting heard.  

There are already a number of brave survivors (men and women) that have trusted me with their stories and I will be telling these stories on TikTok (keeping them anonymous) and provide info on resources. Hopefully, this will encourage and inspire others to reach out for help and possibly break the cycle.
