Question Asked: The Pi Apps are not on Web3, so why is that?

My Answer: It’s true that Pi apps currently run through the Pi Browser, which acts as a bridge between Web2 and Web3. Pi Network apps are approved based on several parameters — including security, user experience, and their readiness for Web3 integration. While many of these apps are still technically hosted on Web2 infrastructure, they are being designed to support Web3 features like wallet-based login, Pi payments, and decentralized logic.

Once the .pi Web3 domain system is fully operational, I expect Pi apps to transition more smoothly into Web3 by registering their app names under a .pi domain. This will further solidify their position in the decentralized ecosystem. @PiCoreTeam
