As promised here are my key takeaways from the @MitosisOrg Dev Docs. It was the best couple hours I spent in a while geeking out about any chain, last I did that was for Ethereum when they introduced the staking mechanism and L2 scaling.

✅Mitosis L1 is custom built for attracting all of Defi activity to its chain by bringing EVM compatibility to the execution layer and Cosmos based consensus layer for rapid block times and finality. This approach is absolutely essential for the best overall experience as a Defi user.

✅For more seamless compatibility and staying in line with Ethereum's structure a custom validator module was written by the devs which I feel would help apply any upgrades Ethereum chain gets onto the mitosis chain seamlessly while maintain complete independence from their codebase.

✅Im personally glad the team took the modular design of Ethereum as an inspiration and added their own flavor of improvement on it on the consensus layer leveraging their expertise in developing on cosmos in the past.

✅A user can participate in the governance mechanism without having to run their own validator like Ethereum of today. I like this approach because not everyone has the resources to meet the uptime, system requirements and staking requirements for running a validator. Breaking out of specialties brings the best out of network. Let the validators run the infrastructure and everyone can participate in the governance aspect which controls almost all major decisions regarding all major contracts on mitosis and branch chains also controlling the reward flow.

✅VLF everyone is talking about it but do people really know what it means! It stands for Vault Liquidity Frameworks its a genius idea of combining the representation of the underlying asset on the branch chain and the yield on top of it in one simple way on the mitosis chain. Best part about these vaults is they implement the beautiful combo of ERC-20 and ERC-2626 for standardized tokenized vaults which work seamlessly with other EVM compatible chains making it super easy for the team to onboard new vaults from different chains. To top it all there are multiple guard rails for the safety and stability of the vaults so your hard earned liquidity works hard for you without compromising on integrity.

TLDR: Mitosis has a grand vision of being the Liquidity layer of the internet also dubbed as Programmable Liquidity diving in to the dev docs I am reassured that the team has spent quite a lot of time intricately architect a Layer X chain custom built leveraging the best the industry has to offer in terms of standards and architecture. Mitosis team is the kind of team that measures twice and cuts once making sure the product is perfect right out of the gate!
