When that time comes, all tropical countries will face rising sea levels, saltwater intrusion, and deadly heatwaves. 

Countries like India, Bangladesh, and Pakistan may go to war over scarce water resources.

All inland nations across Asia will face large-scale desertification, creating tens of millions of climate refugees.

The US will be hit hard by the depletion of the Ogallala and Edwards aquifers and the drying up of the Colorado River, leading to major crop failures and the risk of serious social unrest. 

Meanwhile, accelerating Arctic ice melt could disrupt ocean currents, bringing harsh winters to Europe and North America.
