@BigMoonKR @AngelicaOung That’s not the only way to decouple financial assets. You can refi, repo, or restructure. That’s what TARP was. Debt is not a real constraint and its terms can be changed. Furthermore households in China mostly bought with cash. Even if property value dips they’re not underwater.
