That is how I confirmed How much Bybit protects the Users. Not everyday is to discuss about Bybit and Xstocks and CFDs. We've had one or two experiences, and I will like to share mine. There is a reason I chose to remain with this exchange. Sometime around 20th Nov. 2024. I opened a P2P on bybit, I wanted to sell some usdt for $$ as I was in a location where I wanted to pay for house rent. This transaction was a total of ₦1.2m. And you know that most vendors ask that you drop a mobile number with which they can reach you so I dropped mine for this vendor. Few minutes later I received a message on Whatsapp with the name of the bybit vendor. He asked that I should paste an account number on our trade chat on bybit so that he can pay from that account, that he already reached his limit on the main account. I was in a hurry, I didn't even check the number, so I did as he said. Then few seconds later he marked the trade that he has paid and I was asked to release coins. I refreshed my bank app several times and I didn't see any money enter so I went back to my bybit app to open an appeal. Lo and behold, the bro already appealed against me, Saying that I dropped that account number approving that he should pay into that account. I was so afraid as I haven't been in such situation before. I panicked. I then tried to go and screenshot the WhatsApp chat as proof in my defence and he already cleared it. I chatted him, called the line to no avail. So I read the P2P rules on bybit again and it rose my confidence, It says that the "vendor is not allowed for any reason to pay into a third party account." So I enter the appeal and sent a screenshot of the chats he deleted, My effort to dialogue with him, my statement of account that shows I received nothing and that in our chat I never said, "pay into this account." But I was still afraid because I made a mistake. The Customer service then took control. To cut it short, After X days, I my coins were unlocked for me. That day I believed so much in how Bybit cares about the customers and it has been my exchange for everything since then. Same place I choose to trade Oil and every other thing, Because I will be protected.
