This upgrade significantly enhances the operational flexibility of the Kornet system. The Bulat missile is designed to engage unarmored, lightly armored, and moderately protected targets, including those equipped with reactive armor. Its jam-resistant laser beam guidance and multi-kilometer range make it a versatile addition to the Kornet’s arsenal. The system supports both sequential and tandem launch modes and is currently undergoing troop trials. 🇷🇺 Rostec Integrates 4-Round ‘Bulat’ Missile Cassette into Kornet ATGM System
Rostec’s High-Precision Systems holding has introduced a new capability for the Kornet anti-tank guided missile (ATGM) system by enabling it to launch four 9M134 "Bulat" lightweight missiles from a single cassette. This upgrade significantly enhances the operational flexibility of the Kornet system.
The Bulat missile is designed to engage unarmored, lightly armored, and moderately protected targets, including those equipped with reactive armor. Its jam-resistant laser beam guidance and multi-kilometer range make it a versatile addition to the Kornet’s arsenal. The system supports both sequential and tandem launch modes and is currently undergoing troop trials.
