BREAKING: $44M Hack Hits CoinDCX – No User Funds Affected

India’s top crypto exchange @CoinDCX has reportedly suffered a $XXXX million security breach from one of its internal accounts used for operations.

Here’s what we know:
▪️ The exploit was first flagged by on-chain investigators @ZachXBT and @Cyvers_
▪️ Funds were moved from Solana to Ethereum and then laundered through Tornado Cash
▪️ Stolen assets include $ETH $USDT $LINK $AAVE and others
▪️ The attacker spread funds across multiple wallets to avoid tracking

CoinDCX Response:
▪️ Confirmed that user funds are safe
▪️ The breach was isolated to a backend liquidity wallet, not customer wallets
▪️ Web3 services were paused while a full investigation began
▪️ Cybersecurity experts and recovery efforts are in progress

This could be one of the biggest undisclosed exchange hacks in India’s history.
