If I were a Japanese businessman, I'd pull my investments out of Taiwan. Coz Taiwan has serious power shortage, political instability, and it's simply not safe.

If I were a Taiwanese, I'd pray that if the war breaks out, my govt surrenders quickly or the military falls fast. Otherwise, Taiwan could become another Ukraine - or worse.

If I were Chinese mainland citizen, I'd encourage my kid to apply to a military academy and become a PLA officer. Coz the risk in the war to reunify Taiwan is low, but the chance to make a name is real.
