In March of 2017, Congressman @DevinNunes was shown one or more of these reports. He couldn't believe it. He literally couldn't believe what he was looking at, not at first. But it was real. Nunes was ON the Trump transition team himself. I've always suspected he saw unmasked transcripts of his OWN phone calls, copies of his emails and texts in those reports. When he called an emergency press conference later that night, he looked like he had just seen a ghost. Like he had just received the worst absolute shock of his life. This kind of thing is not supposed to happen when one administration is transitioning to a new administration. The outgoing administration is NOT SUPPOSED to us it's Law Enforcement/Intelligence Agency surveillance powers on the incoming administration to spy on it. Yet that is exactly what had happened. Here is that press conference in it's entirety: For holding this press conference and talking about what he was shown, Adam Schiff and others involved in the plot quickly moved to censure Nunes and forced him to step down from his chair position on the House Intelligence Committee while he was investigated for supposedly 'exposing classified material'.
