I strongly dislike the world happiness rankings.

They (intentionally) conflate contentment with happiness, despite these being two very distinct emotions.

I live part time in the happiest country (Denmark).

It's dull and not all that happy.

Very content, though.

The US is a far happier, more alive, more vibrant place and it's not even close.

This difference matters, a lot.
