LCIA's lock corporate hegemony into UK infrastructure. Public infrastructure is the next financial asset being primed for the likes of Blackrock, Blackstone, Deloitte, PEEL Group, and hundreds more corporations post-Brexit. Governance powers are being handed over to these companies while the UK Govt takes a secondary 'position'. In June 2025, Keir Starmer's Govt produced a policy paper titled Industrial Strategy Zones Action Plan, it seeks to merge freeports and SEZs, and no doubt AI Zones (AIZs) under the same deregulatory umbrella that serves corporate interests over the publics interests.
