He went on to help build medical education at @KingCeasorUni. He’s still going and they’re churning out hundreds of medical doctors into the field. @Makerere lost one of the very best anatomy Professors in the post colonial history of medical education. The people who made that decision have not faced the shame that their decision deserves. Then you have that guy BB. From being the self proclaimed “Best Malariologist in Africa” (remember that line of his in DLT?) to running Mulago into the ground and then to him now facing corruption charges before the courts. His first order of business upon getting the top job in Mulago was to kick out the very Professors who made him. They were too old and didn’t deserve post retirement age contracts. Remember that chaos? Now, the owners of the country fly to Nairobi in Kenya to consult those very Professors that BB kicked out. They spend billions of taxpayer cash for that.
