You're right, fine tuning is probably the wrong approach for what I'm thinking. I'm no AI expert but I'm thinking a much more stripped down and distilled model could probably suit a task like this...but not certain what Meta did in this case.

Also "stripped down and distilled" LLM could probably feasibly be replaced by a non-LLM deterministic system  so your original point stands lol
