The massive increase in Indonesia and Chinese NPI has pushed down US$ nickel prices and closed marginal nickel sulphide mines.

However, underlying demand from stainless steel and batteries will soon catchup to current supply and lead to market tightness again.  

Downwardsloping wedges like this are usually resolved to the upside.

Often abruptly.

Not too many good nickel plays but $WMG and $NIC look attractive and are breaking out.  I own $WMG - DYOR
