I think Trump’s energy direction is pragmatic in addressing immediate security and economic pressures but shortsighted and potentially counterproductive for the nation’s long-term prosperity. 

It bets HEAVILY on fossil fuels at a time when market trends, technological progress, and global demands are tilting toward renewables.. risking isolation in a world racing to decarbonize.

A more balanced strategy: combining fossil reliability with aggressive clean tech investment..would better position the U.S. to lead, rather than play perpetual catch up.
