A true 30x move like Cardano’s 2021 run is pretty rare for large-cap altcoins, especially in today’s macro environment where liquidity, inflation, and global risk sentiment play such a big role. 

While a surge in global liquidity or a strong risk-on environment could support major moves—even for sizable names like ONDO or ICP—a 30x run would likely need a combination of perfect macro tailwinds, regulatory support, and huge sector narratives, which are harder to come by for bigger market cap coins compared to smaller, newer projects. 

Most analysts say smaller caps and new launches have much better odds for those outsized returns, while large caps might see strong gains but likely not those once-in-a-cycle 30x explosions.
