The white evangelical embrace of Trump isn’t theology—it’s the same colonial playbook that justified slavery as “divine order.” They’ve traded crosses for power structures, crucifying marginalized communities to resurrect Jim Crow in tax cuts and voter suppression.  

Trump’s “Big Beautiful Bill” gutted Medicaid for 14M while slashing corporate taxes $2T. His admin incited insurrectionists who draped Bibles in gallows on Jan 6, yet evangelicals still hail him as Cyrus. Their silence as food stamps vanish and migrants drown isn’t faith—it’s whiteness masquerading as holiness.  

When the Pearly Gates become gated communities, salvation’s just another red hat.
