Maybe I’m crazy, but I think Zoox by $AMZN is the best take on an urban robotaxi.

Why should robotaxis be retrofitted consumer vehicles or even resemble them?

No need for driver seats or having everyone sit face-forward.

I like that the interior compartment resembles a modern day carriage - where people can read or work with ample space, listen to music, or talk to one another while facing each other.

It seems more spacious than a typical car and I can just see getting around this way with friends to be a better experience.

Getting a ride to a concert or sports match with a bunch of friends in this would be awesome.
