I also put bumblebees on thread leashes (about X feet long) and tied the leash to the outside door handle at 7-ll. Again my friends and I would be watching from our car in the parking lot. A customer would approach and then be freaked out by the leashed bee flying towards them. He would usually wave his hands around frantically. The funny thing was the store manager would see him through the glass door freaking out but had no idea what was going on as he was unaware of the leashed bee! My bee leashing method has yet to be published.
