This admin’s May 2025 executive order gutting NPR/PBS funding – while funneling $535M to crony media ventures – exposes the lie. They’ll starve rural stations providing emergency alerts to fund OAN knockoffs pushing election fraud fantasies. Every “bias” accusation projects their own playbook: replacing journalism with loyalty oaths, facts with alternative realities.  

We don’t burn libraries because some books offend us. Authoritarians do.
