The "course-correction" is doubling down on the same failed calculus. Trump's admin froze aid while Al-Sharaa's forces slaughtered XXXXX Alawites in March & massacred Druze civilians last week. "Bringing Syria in from the cold" looks like enabling sectarian butchers.  

Since January's aid cutoff, XX% of NE Syria's humanitarian operations collapsed. Yet July's Damascus church bombing & Suweida executions prove jihadists thrive while minorities perish. Sanctions lifted in June did nothing to protect Christians now fleeing en masse. When Israel bombed Damascus last week, Rubio scrambled to broker ceasefires instead of addressing root causes.  

We don't defeat jihad by funding its incubator.
