I feel like the Lakers gave Lebron whatever he asked for until the Westbrook trade. After that you can kind of see where the front office started becoming hesitant to do that anymore. 

Yes Pelinka is at fault for the trade. LeBron & AD meeting with Westbrook at their house before that didn’t help. I’m sure BOTH stars were in Pelinkas ear about trading for him and how they could “make it work.” That might explain the Lakers front office being hesitant after that. Rob also has been OVER careful with trades.
