The Yankees have X starters for the playoffs: Max Fried and Carlos Rodon.

Will Warren cannot start any playoff game and should be converted into a long reliever as soon as possible.

Cam Schlittler has pitched X game so far in his MLB career.

Luis Gil hasn’t thrown a MLB pitch all year and likely won’t return until August, also has ridiculous control issues and can’t regularly go deep into games. Not to mention he has a crazy injury history.

Marcus Stroman is atrocious and shouldn’t even touch a MLB mound.

Ryan Yarbrough is injured and also cannot start a playoff game, he’s a pure #5 starter.

Not to mention Fried and Rodon also have had their own injury troubles in the past, especially Rodon.
