But this is palpably false? The West just uses economics and trade... Even after it blows up a nation - look at Iraq and Afghanistan... It hasn't conquered those lands. It built trade. 

Russia is ostensibly a continental empire that views territory as essential to it's economic and security strength. 

As a maritime power, America (and by proxy, her allies), just trade. 

Look at the success of China - it's been through hard work and trade that the people have succeeded. Not through conquering new territory. 

What kind of nonsense is this? 😂
