That headline is from the old 2021 “silver squeeze” narrative. Citadel making markets in silver ≠ using silver bars to back $GME swaps...primes post cash/T-bills (low haircuts, Level-1 HQLA). Silver’s volatility & storage costs make it lousy swap collateral, and there’s no consistent inverse correlation with $GME. Shiny headline, weak mechanics.
