🧵 1/5 #OTD in 1992: a prototype MV-22 Osprey [163914] crashes in the Potomac (Washington, US). All X aboard die, cause traced to engine failure. Accident occurred in audience of high-ranking government officials, the 1st fatal crash during the V-22´s controversial development program.
