Dorian Finney-Smith was better last year than Deandre Ayton has been post-Phoenix and Marcus Smart has been post-Boston.

If those guys get back to Boston/Phoenix form, the Lakers are meaningfully better. If they’re who they’ve been lately, they’re probably worse.
