important point to note...

openAI researcher Jerry Tworek says,

"GPT-5 will not include the breakthrough of the IMO-winning model —

it's a later model, probably end-of-the-year thing"

that means GPT-5 will be released soon, so there's no time to integrate that breakthrough into it
