when did “airdrops” become a norm??

How did we get here?

Airdrops used to be a marketing strategy 

>teams used it to encourage their users

>others used it to attract new users

But now that’s not the case🤦🏽‍♂️

> peeps “stress test” protocols and expect 5fig  airdrops

> they use a protocol a few times and expect wife changing monies

Most times they have little to zero contribution to protocol revenue and yet have high expectations 

when these projects don’t meet their expectations, they crash out.

WTH?

it’s an eyesore

But the game is the game.

Strongly feel like we can do better tho
