STABLECOIN PRESSURE RISING: China is warning USD stablecoins could “weaken financial sovereignty,” per ex-FX chief Guan Tao.

While the U.S. pushes private innovation with the GENIUS Act, China is doubling down on its CBDC  and encouraging RMB stablecoins offshore.
